Every Painting Has a Story
Mine usually begin with a camera in one hand and a passport in the other.
From the waterfalls of Iceland and castles of Ireland to the skylines of Panama and temples of Japan, I use my travel photography as inspiration for original watercolor paintings, fine art prints, step-by-step watercolor tutorials, paint reviews, and workshops.
I’m an award-winning watercolor artist and Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, and Transparent Watercolor Society of America. My goal is to capture the atmosphere and character of the places I’ve photographed while letting watercolor—not the camera—determine the final result.
