Professional Watercolor Artist and Instructor
Originally trained in photography at the University of Michigan, Ryan worked as a professional travel photographer before returning to watercolor full time in late 2011. After years behind a camera and computer screen, throwing paint around suddenly seemed much more appealing. Many of his paintings are based on his own photography captured throughout Europe, Asia, Central America, Iceland, and beyond.
