Why Iceland?
Iceland’s constantly changing light, volcanic landscapes, dramatic weather, and surreal atmosphere make it one of the most inspiring places I have ever painted. Many of these paintings were inspired directly by photographs captured during my travels through Iceland’s coastal villages, waterfalls, lava fields, and black sand beaches.
