New watercolor time lapse videos- watch now

I have been making an effort to turn the camera on when I am painting in the studio. It’s so easy to forget to do this but with the help of a photography C-Stand and arm I am dedicated to keeping this set up as a reminder to document my creative process.

Here is a recent landscape begun in my Watercolor Again! class at Sertoma Arts Center in Raleigh. In these classes we explore a lot of different techniques and colors. There is SO much you can do with watercolor. The landscape painting is a multi-layered ying-yang painting (which means I am constantly adding and subtracting color as I layer). This was created with a combination of wet-into-wet, wet-on-dry, removing color with nibs and razor blades, and using masking fluid. Whew.
